Easy to use –  similar user interface with most other Blackberries from 81xx onwards

Internet Access – WiFi is pretty good for internet on the go.Also has an inbuilt web browser so one can surf the net if your telecom provider and network plan allows it.

GPS Blackberry Maps does not seem to work in New Zealand for some reason so I have downloaded Google Maps(uses nearest Vodafone Cellphone towers as a reference point for your location).

Cons

If there are problems with your BES or Exchange Server that might affect email reconciliation.In some cases even when there were not problems with either our BES or Exchange Server there was still problems with email which is abit annoying.

For some reason if your SIM gets loose you get an SOS error meaning you can’t send or receive email and have to take out the SIM and put it back again.

Apple iPhone

Visually the phone looks great.I like iPhones with  silver finish.Looks refined and expensive.The icons are easy to nagivate.The thing that annoys me though with both the iPhone and Blackberry is when the menus go horizontal when scrolling.

The iPhones Camera is abit disappointing compared to the Blackberry camera.

Pricing

The iPhone costs NZD $ 979 while the 3GS 32 GB costs NZD$1379 from Vodafone NZ.The BB 9500 costs about $900.

I think I will stick to my Blackberry my ideal phone however would need to be the size of an Apple nano iTouch
